Scarecrow Day 21/5/11

Wow ... what a turn out at Oving Scarecrow Day on Saturday 21st May. Lots of people turn out to see the vast variety of scarecrows:








This spaceman was a firm favourite with the public and was made by the children of Class 5 in March C of E Primary School

 Then there were some fun themed 'scarecrows' that got plenty of attention too

To the more traditional that were more challenging to find!



Once again, the Woodhorn Tractor and Trailer Rides proved highly sort after and the queues were vast. Although we extended the time frame in which we carried out the rides, unfortunately people were still disappointed.

Plant a seed with Woodhorn's Earth Cycle was successful also, and next year we want to make it slightly different from plant a sunflower seed - ideas welcomed!

The date has already been set for next year, 19th May 2012! We are looking forward to be there again!
